We operate under the presupposition that teenagers are a vital part of the body life of a healthy church. They are not the future of the e church, they are the church now. One day they will lead the church and so we aim to equip them today, both practically and theologically. Therefore we strive to provide opportunities for our students to be active in the life of the church. We push them to seek and cultivate relationships beyond their peer group. Listed below are some common areas of service.

Summer Ministry ::
Our summers are loaded with a wide spectrum of activities. We are involved in everything from back yard bible clubs, to constructing a float for a sister church to building race cars out of junkyard parts. Every summer offers new challenges and opportunities. Speak with Pastor Brian about specifics.
Vacation Bible School ::
Vacation Bible School at our church makes constant use of the youth for all capacities of the program. We put them to work in virtually every capacity of this undertaking. Speak with Rhonda White for more.
Music Ministry ::
Opportunities abound for our youth to be involved in the music of our church. Whether it’s Sunday morning, Sunday night, or Wednesday with youth or Sunday School with the youth there are plenty of chances.

Childcare ::
Many of our young people help out in the nursery of our church.

Hospitality ::
Our church is always in need of friendly faces to greet people at the door and answer basic questions.

Teach ::
Our small groups furnish the opportunity for the high school students to try their hand at teaching the Word of God. In this setting many make their first attempt in life at Bible teaching. There are both girls and guys groups.

Assistant Teacher ::
Our Sunday School classes seem to be in constant need of helpers. We team a high school student up with an adult teacher for a quarter at a time.

Mother's in Christ ::
We often times provide child care for one of our adult ministries at church. We essentially have a mini VBS several times throughout the summer.

Church Membership ::
We encourage our young people to become members as a visible step of personal ownership of their faith.

Adult Sponsors ::
We try to have a myriad of adults involved in the student ministry of our church. We want our young people to be involved in the lives of older saints who love Jesus Christ. We see this as a practical implementation of 2Timothy 2:2.
