I have had writers block for a very long time, much to the dismay of no one. But our recent event (6Ao) was a strong enough stimulus to finally move me to say a brief word.
I cannot find the proper words to express how much I appreciated our time together at our most recent event. It was refreshing, invigorating and entertaining. I laughed till I hurt, I ran until I literally hurt, I lost a bunch of sleep, I smiled often, I heard about people crying, and I was sincerely sad to see everyone leave. I would like to say it was perfect, but I know better. I would like to say that it was easy, but that would be a lie. But I can say, without hesitation, that it was worth it.
It is fascinating to watch two groups come together that have little to nothing in common and then after a few days to view the change. It’s like you met an old friend you never knew you had when you are among God’s people. I love God’s people. I love to be around the people who want to please God with their lives and are looking to the Word to determine what that direction is. I love God’s people and I hope this simple event encouraged your love for His people too.
A thank you goes out to all kinds of people but none more loudly or eagerly than to our great Lord who gives out of the storehouses of His endless riches and grace.
